金属包覆垫片系指内部用非金属材料(柔性石墨、石棉橡胶板、陶瓷纤维)等,外部用特定的冷作工艺包覆金属薄板的复合型垫片,按垫片截面通常分为平面型包覆及波纹型包覆两种,是最传统的一种密合垫片,适用于热交换器、压力容器、泵、阀及法兰面密封。但回弹力有限,需要求法兰表面平坦及紧固力很高才能达到良好效果(可改进、外敷石墨板)。根据不同材料可以组合成201、304、316不锈钢包石墨(耐温650度)包覆垫、包石棉包覆垫,包陶瓷纤维(1400度)包覆垫片等多种形式。
包覆垫片材质:A3、不锈钢(201、304、316)、铜、铝等 包覆垫片填充料:石棉、柔性石墨、聚四氟乙烯、无石棉、陶瓷纤维等。
包覆垫片主要用途:适用于直径较大的压力容器(如换热器、反应器等)法兰的密封。 各种介质的机泵、管阀、管道及各类设备的法兰等密封。适用于中、低压工况。 不锈钢包覆垫片的焊接:大于1米或非腐蚀用工况可用焊接金属模式;316、316L小型一般禁止焊接。 包覆垫片的改进:为提高密封效果外层可以粘贴柔性石墨板材。包覆垫片价格:直径1米以内201石墨包覆垫大约0.2元每mm;2米左右0.25元每mm,包覆垫片据耐温选择包覆物:石墨—耐温650 耐腐蚀;陶瓷纤维—耐温HA1200 ;HZ—1600
Jacketed gaskets combine the temperature resistance of a metal jacket with the sealing performance of a soft filler. The jacket and filler materials are selected to optimizes temperature and chemical performance; construction style is dictated by pressure needs, gasket geometry and sealing issues.
Styles
There are many different styles of jacketed gaskets available. The following is a selection of the most commonly used styles. Call for help choosing the right style for your application. 







RD300
Single Jacket: The most basic form of jacketed gasket, with coverage on one face and both edges.
RD301
Single Jacket with Overlap: Where full coverage is needed and flange is narrow relative to gasket ID.
RD305
Double Jacket: Where full coverage is needed and flange is wide relative to gasket ID.
RD306
Double Jacket with Double Shell: Stronger and more rigid than double jacket gasket.
RD330
Double Gasket Corrugated: Corrugations create a labyrinth seal across the gasket face.
RD340
French Style Jacket: Provides coverage on one side only (inside or outside) and both faces. Flange is narrow relative to gasket ID.
RD345
French Style Jacket, two and three piece construction: For wide or irregular shapes. Available with coverage on either inside or outside edge and both surfaces.
RD347
French Style Jacket, two and three piece construction: For wide or irregular shapes. Available with coverage on either inside or outside edge and both surfaces.
